USA Ultimate, the national governing body of ultimate (Frisbee), and RallyMe, the leader in sports crowdfunding, have partnered to launch an innovative new online fundraising platform exclusively for Ultimate teams and athletes.
“We’re excited to partner with USA Ultimate to create this new fundraising website, which highlights USA Ultimate’s dedication to provide more state-of-the-art tools, programs and funding resources for its teams, athletes, and donors,” said Bill Kerig, founder and CEO of RallyMe.
The new website, USAUltimate.RallyMe.com, kicks off with fundraising efforts featuring USA Ultimate’s seven national teams that will be competing this summer at the WFDF World Ultimate & Guts Championships in London and the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Poland. Each team’s Rally illustrates the individual athletes representing the United States and their unique stories while offering cool swag as gifts for donor support. All contributions are tax deductible.
"While it’s an honor and privilege for our athletes to represent the U.S. in international competition, it’s also a significant commitment from a financial perspective," explained Andy Lee, USA Ultimate's director of marketing and communications.
"The majority of the costs to participate at the elite and international levels fall on the athletes themselves. Our partnership with RallyMe gives our U.S. National Teams and athletes a proven and effective platform on which to raise funds from their close networks of friends and family as well as the greater ultimate community. Eventually, this platform will be available to all of our teams and athletes across various divisions of the sport so that they can create and market innovative fundraising campaigns as well."
USAUltimate.RallyMe.com gives family, friends, and fans the opportunity to support great Ultimate teams, be part of their journey and share in the athlete experience.
