Nathalie Marchino is the kind of athlete we love at RallyMe. Sure, she's one of the best women rugby players on the planet, but what impresses us the most is her never-quit attitude. After playing basketball in Switzerland, she attended Sienna College and played hoop there.
After graduation, she started playing rugby and soon was a six-time national champ and two-time MVP, playing in two 15s World Cups, as well as a 7s World Cup with the US National Team.
This year she was left off the squad for the upcoming Olympics in Rio. But she still didn't quit.
Instead, she went back to her roots, literally, to see if there was a way that she could play for her birth country, Colombia. Turns out, she can, if she can make the team. So she turned to her network to help her raise the funds to go to tryouts.
As of this writing, she's accomplished her funding goal and is headed to tryouts. Rock on, Nathalie. You're a Rallier we're proud of.
